Center Registration Process-2023

Minimum IT Infrastructure

  • Minimum Lab setup : 1 Server + 4 Clients
  • Ncomputing /Xtenda / Thin Client Setup is not allowed

Minimum Server Configuration

  • Dual Core Processor (2.4 Ghz) with 8 GB RAM
  • 500 GB Hard disk
  • Integrated Graphics
  • NIC card / WIFI
  • 3 USB ports
  • Windows 10(64-bit) Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1
  • Antivirus
  • Quantity required per centre (minimum): 1 Desktop/Laptop
  • Minimum 50 Mbps Internet connection

The above-mentioned server can support upto 20 clients. If number of clients are more, then server CPU and RAM should be increased proportionately

  • Dual Core Processor 1.6 GHz Processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 160 GB Hard disk
  • NIC card / WIFI
  • Audio ports
  • Keyboard and Mouse
  • Headphone with Mic
  • One Web Camera / Integrated Camera
  • Windows 10 Enterprise (64-bit)
  • Antivirus
  • Quantity required per center (minimum): 2 Desktop/Laptops* *Laptops are preferable because:
    • Consume less power
    • Require less space
    • Easy to maintain
    • Minimum 3-4 hours power backup available in case of power failure
    • Inbuilt Webcamera
    • Easy to move
    • WiFi connectivity

Peripherals

  • Multifunction Printer (All in one, Print / Scan / Copy) or
    • Printer - minimum 600 dpi resolution (Recommended Brand: HP, Canon, Epson etc.) (minimum 1)

LAN

LAN 10/100/1000 Mbps Network Switch (Server and all Laptops should be connected to this Network Switch) (Recommended Brand: D-Link, Linksys etc.) or Wifi Access Point – 300 Mbps, 802.11n
Electrical and LAN wiring should run perpendicular to each other. If they are parallel to each other, then a distance of 2 feet should be maintained between them to avoid interference.

Internet

Minimum 1 Mbps Broadband Connection (wired / wireless) (Server and all Laptops should be able to connect to the Internet by using Internet Connection Sharing or Proxy Server)

Licence Policy:

MKCL will provide the following setup to ALCs:

  1. Windows 7/10 (64 bit)
  2. MS-Office 2013 (64 bit)

For additional Windows and MS-Office licenses, ALC has to arrange at their own. Also, for other courses, ALC have to arrange required softwares at their own.

ALC has to use Microsoft Licexnses provided by MKCL for the courses offered by MKCL only.
